Elder Coleman is now in Alaska!!!

Nathan loves his mission and is excited to get to work! In one of the letters that he sent us he wrote "This mission is different than most missions in the world. Alaskans are mostly pretty self-relient and are pretty proud of that........The way to get people to give you the time of day is NOT by tracting (usually),....But by member refurals or by service. Believe it or not, the way we get people to talk to us, is by serving them until they bring up the gospel by themselves and adventually build a relationship that they can trust."

Elder Nate the Great..

Well, Nate the Great is now Elder Nathan Coleman. He left for the MTC June 9. He asked Rachel (me) to up date his blog while he was gone. He has had a blast at the MTC, we got our first letter from him a few days ago and he said that he was having a great time trying to find his way around campus...and he always bragged about how good he was with directions. Anyway, here's a picture of Nathan after he went through the temple. He'll make a great missionary!

Yo whose up?
Obviously not me! This is my life now that I'm home with my family. Well, besides working with all the old people at the family history center and the cannery. It's been fun! I can't wait to leave for my mission to Anchorage Alaska.
